As such v2.2-4 allows you to show the counts for incoming/outgoing/both/none on the badge instead of the previous outgoing/none option.

Recently been rather busy with exams so haven’t had a chance to concentrate on the new features. Anyway, if you haven’t notice there is already translation for Spanish and Italian (Thanks to Danilo Rama and Arturo Donghi). Both of them have also feedback some features which they think will be very nice to have. I will definitely be doing up those suggestions.

Want to also thank Arturo Donghi for his donation and sharing with me what his company is doing :)

What to look forward in the next version:

  • Changes to the interface
  • More reports on usage (e.g. the number of calls, the chargeable teleco call duration etc, expected bill)
  • A way to differentiate between international calls/calling card numbers vs normal calls

and of course I welcome any suggestions you might have, and if you could help in translation the app to other languages, please contact me also.

/private/var/mobile/Library/SmsStats/smscounter.db

and

/private/var/mobile/Library/CallStats/callcounter.db
But I realized that some of you don’t know how to go about doing this. So I decided to create a “dummy” application which allows you to delete off these 2 databases.
  1. Reboot your iPhone
  2. Add this cydia source : http://www.blackfacility.com/cydia
    • Select Manage from the bottom menu
    • Select Sources
    • Edit
    • Add
    • Enter http://www.blackfacility.com/cydia
    • Add Source
  3. Search for SMS/CallCounter Fixes
  4. Install the app
  5. Uninstall the app
  6. Exit Cydia
  7. Start SMS Counter/Call Counter
